Emily has what most would consider the most important quality in a real estate agent; she puts you first. Never once did I feel like Emily was putting anything above me as her client. It's wasn't about a commission check, it wasn't about rushing through the process just to get a sale, I always felt like Emily was looking out for my best interests throughout the entire process. It also doesn't hurt that she's extremely knowledgeable about the entire homebuying process, including finding smaller issues/tidbits in a house that many realtors may overlook. Emily supported us throughout our relocation to Raleigh and really went the extra mile. She coached us on how to get started selling and buying, coordinated with our other realtor for our previous home, and went out of her way to make sure she herself saw whatever details came up throughout the process — even if that meant taking an extra trip across town. I was very impressed by her thoughtfulness, the level of detail of her service (personal check-ins, careful planning, proactive scheduling for vendors we will need, etc), and the care she takes to be knowledgeable about things in a home we never thought about. We have had great past experiences with other realtors, and Emily’s thoughtfulness and support was above and beyond those. I highly recommend.
Emily was amazing to work with she made sure that my husband and I never felt bad for asking to see what felt like a million houses just because they never felt like "the one" for us. We worked with her for several months (including during COVID) before deciding on our perfect home and throughout the whole process she was very supportive and accommodating. Emily gave great advice and really made sure that we got the best deal (we made instant equity in this seller's market!) and everything taken care of. When we couldn't be there for the electrical inspection she made sure to be there for us as well and got us two inspections so we had comparable prices. I can't express enough how much I would recommend working with her. Even after closing and signing all the documents she has made sure to keep in contact for any followup questions we've had.
